The hotel is old style but the room is spacious. It is right in the Bunbury CBD so it is within walking distance of everything. Inside the hotel, there is a central void from ground to the top floor, with all apartments surrounding the court. The restaurant, the swimming pool, and all facilities are in this central court. However, during our stay, the noise from the pool and the pop music from the restaurant are non-stopping. So it is not a quiet place. Management needs to do something to control the noise level to provide quiet environment.
We were so disappointed that the pool/spa wasn't heated for our stay.
The male receptionist said it was a pump problem and had only happened on that morning. He said it was not possible to get it fixed on the weekend because nobody was available to come out.
The only compensation offered was a drink at the bar!
On departure this morning the female receptionist said the pool hadn't been working since Tuesday because they were waiting for a part from the Eastern States.
I would definitely check the pool/spa is working before you stay here if it's a big part of your reason for choosing this Hotel.
The Junior suit room 315 is basic.
Microwave is an extra $10 per day.
